Cederblom Family Session

What a special family. Truly—this session was an absolute blast. With so many energetic, excited kids bouncing around in front of my lens, how could it be anything else?

It all began when one of my clients reached out to share some wonderful news: her sisters and parents were all flying to California for the holidays. For the first time in 20 years, everyone would be in California at the same time. The three sisters wanted to surprise their parents with a Family Session—something to mark the occasion and capture all the cousins together with their grandparents.

In the end, we had a joyful group of eight adults and nine kids. Whenever I’m planning a session with that many little ones, I always encourage choosing a location where the kids can run, play, and just be themselves. Once they’re free to explore, the whole session naturally transforms into a storytelling experience—and the photos that come from those moments never, ever disappoint.
